WindowLab knocked on our door a few times but then finally caught me outside and we had a chat with the rep. We were in the market for windows but not extremely serious at the time. We had mismatched windows throughout the home that were all different ages and types and we knew they were going to be replaced at some point.

Douglas Sidney came to the appointment that we set up, ran us through all the different types of windows and all the amazing things that make their windows special and they gave us a really good price on them. He was very polite, professional, knowledgeable, and quick with finding any answers to our questions.

I figured the deal must be too good to be true so I tried to find dirt on them and I could not find anything online. Haha. Only good things. We asked around and all we saw were positive reviews. So we moved forward with the quote and got all new window, windows and patio door for our house.

And they are working great!! We were extremely happy also with the customer service of the installation crews. They were installing in the cold part of January and they still got it done.

I had 5 estimates in four days and the first 4 were not as I expected. Then Doug Sidney from Windowlab came and showed his product and the installation video and told me a little about the company. In less than an hour he made his proposal and the initial price was $10,000-37,000 less than the other bids. Honestly I was sold when I saw the screen frame which was way better than other product I have seen. Doug did not waste my time by giving a bid for $60,000 and reducing it in half after all the ”discounts.” In my world that’s how business should be conducted. We replaced two large, sliding glass door units located in the important pathway between the kitchen/dining area, three-season porch, and new deck.

Who installs windows in the winter???!!! We did! We met with a Window Lab rep last fall to investigate replacing 2 very large trapezoid windows in our sunroom. One had lost it's seal and the windows were 33 years old. We had been replacing our original wood windows with double pane Marvin windows over the years, and they still ice up in the winter (and they were costly!), so we wanted something different. We were surprised to find we could get triple-pane windows that were custom manufactured, state of the art, and come with the best warranty in the business. We were so impressed with this product we decided to have 12 total windows replaced on the first level. Yes, it was cold, but it was the installers that had to bear the brunt of that as most of the work was done from the outside. The installers were professional and experienced; we could not be more pleased. It is definitely warmer in the rooms with the new windows and they match our trim perfectly. We will definitely have them install our lower level windows and patio door next!
